Curious about designing your own fabric? This hands-on session will give you a taste of what it’s like to go from blank page to finished fabric and you get to take home a fat quarter of fabric that you designed! Based on Becka’s popular “unexpected art” workshops, we will make paper collage designs from unusual materials, scan and manipulate those designs, and create a seamlessly repeating kaleidoscopic pattern. In just two hours, you will have a finished design ready to print and lots of inspiration.

Level: Beginner. No fabric design experience necessary.

Materials fee: $8

Instructor will supply all materials including laptop computers. Fat quarters of basic 100% cotton fabric will be mailed to students after they are printed (approx 2 weeks later).
