As part of our opening weekend for the exhibition “Weaving the North,” Becka will be leading two workshops:

Session 1: Ages 9+, 11am-12pm
Session 2: Adults, 1pm-3pm

Create a small woven masterpiece using a palm-sized wooden loom. Learn how to combine colors and textures as you weave with yarns and wool roving.

The adult class will also incorporate beads and other embellishments to create a landscape or abstract design. We’ll talk about different styles of weaving and how to add fringe, etc.
