Guest lecture for the Upper Midwest Bead Society meeting. Designing fabric is more than just putting pencil to paper or generating pixels in Photoshop; it’s about connecting and sharing stories and ideas. Does your design medium matter? Is it cheating to use a computer in your work? Does it make it less “art”? See why Becka Rahn says that it is more. Join artist and Spoonflower Handbook co-author Becka Rahn as she shows you what it is like to design and print your own fabrics, and the unexpected places that can take you. Cost is $5 for non-members of UMBS.
