Garage Sale Treasures
This weekend was the Textile Center’s annual fundraiser, the Garage Sale. We think it is the worlds largest textile garage sale. Crowds kept away a little bit because it was rainy/snowy/cold but I got a few treasures.
* A “Lions, Tigers & Leopards” print all in shades of green.
* A Liberty of London paisley (swoon!) This fabric is amazing – finely woven, soft as anything. I am making a really nice blouse with it.
* Multiple skeins of a couple of pretty wool yarns.

• The green ombre shawl has a very tedious (though pretty) cast off. And I am afraid that when I get it cast off I am not going to like the shape. Its a short fat triangle. Will I be able [read more…]
