One evening a week, a group of friends and I get together to knit.  Sometimes it involves coffee and treats, sometimes wine.  It all depends on the week.  Sometimes it is spinning, like last night, or mending or hemming.  We have been known to trade projects when our own is misbehaving.  We consult, we show-and-tell, we help with fittings and sometimes we all stuff our projects back in their bags and just talk.  Andy stopped by and took some pictures of us last night on his way home from a rehearsal.  Some of us might have been getting a little silly by this time.

As part of our birthday adventures yesterday, we went to see the King Tut exhibit at the Science Museum.  You can see a little snapshot gallery about the exhibit here.  We spent quite a while in the exhibit, it was fun to see and fun to play hooky from work yesterday.

The Fiber Studio my favorite fiber shop, is going out of business. Everything is 25% off this week and 35% off next week. I bought 10 lbs of Corriedale this afternoon.

At Cupcake this morning. Chocolate chip French toast. Woke up early and felt like reading my book on the town.
