Embroidery Samples

This page is a virtual handout for my hand embroidery classes. Below you can see a gallery of samples of the stitches we have done in class and at the very bottom of the page are resources for tools, materials and inspiration (websites and videos) that Becka and other students have shared.

Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy from Amazon or from Sulky.com

Size 8 Perle Cotton Thread by Wonderfil: Suespargo.com or TwinCitiesQuilting.com

• We loved the Hummingbird color in class (purple green variegated) and Gossip Girl (pink, orange, lime variegated).

Metallic Threads by Kreinik. I like the #4 Very Fine Braid, which is similar to perle cotton. They do sell directly to the public but it’s much easier to get it from an Etsy seller or local shop. I order from this shop and they are always very nice and speedy to ship:RoseCottageCrafts3

My favorite place to get wool/rayon felt is BenzieDesigns.etsy.com

Here’s the link to get Monk’s Cloth to try stitching on.

Here is the DMC threads chart on Amazon.
