Can you peyote with bugle beads? Why, yes you can!
I had a high school student on a tour last week who asked why this is called peyote stitch. I found, when doing research for another beading project, that there isn’t really an answer to that and what you see now isn’t the same as what the stitch was named for and lots of people disagree. My student suggested something along the lines of “maybe doing this kind of beadwork gave you a buzz”. Could be.
