If I haven’t been saying much here it’s because I have been working on these. I do a holiday show every year in Luck, WI at Cafe Wren. This year I decided just to do ornaments and a little bit of fiber art jewelry. I had a few things come up (like a trip to CA) and I didn’t get as much done as I was hoping, but when you look at these all together they look pretty amazing.
From the top:
Wool teddy bears with stars on their tummies. (Great for baby’s first ornament)
Hand knit mini mittens.
Polar bears and snowflakes. Wool felt, embroidered with beads & sequins.
“Monogram” patchwork alphabet letters. Also have a keyring so you can use them as a luggage tag.
Bubble Gum machines. Wool felt & sequins.
Poppy brooches. Polyester, nylon & novelty fabrics, hand beaded with pearls, crystals and reclaimed vintage beads/buttons.
Tatted snowflakes.
Fabric cameos. Vintage/batik fabric with beaded edge. Have pin back so you can wear them too.
Mini embroidery & quilting hoops. Laser cut bamboo, digitally printed fabric, hand-embroidered.
Mini drop spindles. Laser cut bamboo. Assorted fibers.
Mini Weaving Looms. Laser cut bamboo. Assorted fibers. Needlewoven.
Faithful Hounds. Wool felt, hand embroidered, bead nose.
(not pictured: sewing machine ornaments, which I blogged about earlier)
About 150 pieces total. All between $6 and $14.
Where can I get a gumball machine ornament? Don’t suppose you have them at the Textile Center? I remember getting a gumball machine for X-mas many years ago. I loved it!
I have some at the show in Luck, WI if you are anywhere near there. If there are any left when I pick up the things from that show, I would be happy to list one in my etsy shop for you!
