Thank you to all who stopped by and commented during Giveaway Day week.  After all of your comments started coming in, I started to wonder about what was the most popular fiber among the group and so I tallied everything up.

Cotton was by far the winner, which isn’t surprising since those of you visiting from SewMamaSew are in to quilting and sewing.  Wool, bamboo, linen and silk were all pretty popular as well and the true fiber geeks made a showing with your breed specific fibers.  Love it!

My favorite fibers depend on what I am doing.  Corriedale (wool) for wet felting.  Cotton for embroidery.  Wool (felt) for handstitched projects and especially for knitting.  Nice quality cotton for sewing.  I am working on a silk/merino shawl right now that is pretty fabulous.
