At last evening’s Opening Reception of the WWW Exhibit in Northfield,

Leisurely
I figured out today that I probably spend at least an hour a day walking with my dog, many days it’s more than that and in every temperature and weather. Andy is off on an adventure with brother/kids/dogs this week and so Lucy and I have spent a lot of quality time walking and quietly thinking. read, white and blue
I have been spending an absolutely lovely weekend alternating between reading my book and working on 3 or 4 different sewing projects.
Sewing: I had to post this one for the 4th! This is a piece of vintage fabric I found last summer. It’s a nice heavy cotton (?) with a little texture in the weave and is marked “a Singer exclusive” in the selvedge. I am hoping to find a cute red belt to go with it, but my bit of red polkadotted ribbon works for now. This is [read more…]
